'I Spy', 'Origin of the Species', 'Jane of Thought', Rob Jenkinson's Letters from America' and many more can be found here each week. The section also contains iBite, a humorous snapshot and commentary of the world's news.

Profiles
Ovi magazine talks to an individual about their work, life or philosophy. They will range from public figures to the lesser known, yet no less powerful, people across the world. They will all have one common denominator: Ovi respects their work.

Politics
Contemporary politics, world finance, business and global commentaries appear in the main Ovi section.

Environment
This section contains articles about science, nature, medicine, anthropology, health and the human spirit.

Sport
Athletes, Olympics, drug abuse, trophies, leagues, team sports, board games, past, present and future are tackled here.

Culture
Global culture, including music, art, film, music, the producers and the consumers, this is our entertainment section.

Reviews
Reviews and criticisms of classic and contemporary literature, movies and art, including the occasional review of the slightly offbeat, fill this section.

Cartoons
Creativity with a pen, pencil, crayon or mouse are collected together here, including Thanos' 'The Worms', one man's one-sided conversation with God in 'Life Undercover', the bullying Rooster in 'Show Bizz', Jonathan Fischer's 'Death of the Party' and other cartoons by the Ovi team.

Le Métèque
'Métèque' is a French derogatory term for Spaniards (and other foreigners from the South) originating in the early 20th century, but the etymology of the word is based upon 'metic', a Greek term for describing an alien who paid a fee to reside in an ancient Greek city. This is the section for foreigners living across the world and features thoughts, advice and experiences on being an immigrant. There is a phrase book, guide to events and an extensive list of links useful to travelers and residents alike.

OviPedia
One of the most popular sites on the web is Wikipedia, but it has one drawback: it wants to be balanced. OviPedia is our very own encyclopaedia and it is filled with biased and unbalanced entries about a growing range of topics. We want opinion-based articles in this section, so don't use it as a research tool - only a tool to fire up discussion.

You can find a selection of PDF books here. We offer cartoons, children's books, collections of Ovi columns and more will follow over time.

Take a break from reading our content by playing one of our games.

The Store

This section is dedicated to promoting individuals or companies, those who are trying to make a living or young professionals who are looking for that elusive first break. We also promote nongovernmental organizations and human rights advocates, for no charge.

Ovi Bad Boys Podcast
The Ovi Bad Boys, Asa Butcher and Thanos Kalamidas, are the hosts of a live weekly radio show courtesy of Lähiradio-KaRa 100.3 MHz. The one-hour show is broadcast in English across the Helsinki region every Sunday afternoon from 15:00 to 16:00, and is now available as a podcast via this section.
