Ha, ha, the paradox of “love-hatred” in life! Without love, hatred is inconceivable, and vice versa, but does that mean that they are complementary or necessary to each other? Food for thought. For, if that be the case, there is no choice and the ethical life becomes impossible. We may all be schizophrenic in a deterministic universe while deluding ourselves that we have choices and are free; and that would be a cruel joke indeed on the part of the universe.
