Pastor's comments
The president of the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC) is repudiating statements made by a former convention official regarding President Barack Obama and the recent murder of abortionist George Tiller. On a recent webcast of his daily radio talk show, Wiley Drake, former second vice-president of the SBC, called last Sunday's murder of Tiller "an answer to prayer." Then during an interview with Alan Colmes on Fox News Radio, Drake said he was praying the same type of "imprecatory prayer" against the president of the United States. For years, Drake has encouraged the practice of praying words of judgment found throughout the Book of Psalm, back to God, against enemies. But Dr. Johnny Hunt, pastor of First Baptist Church of Woodstock, Georgia, and president of the SBC, says Drake's comments are out of line.
Obviously the wrong …pray!!!

Assisting own arrest
A 34-year-old man was arrested after returning to a store looking for a bag of methamphetamine he dropped. Police were called to the Ziggy's home improvement store in the 4000 block of N. Market after employees at the store reported finding drugs.
Shortly after an employee found the drugs near a checkout stand, 34-year-old Christopher Wilson came into the store searching for an item he lost by the same stand. Wilson did not find what he was looking for but did leave his name and phone number with employees. Store employees were suspicious and decided to check surveillance video. Video clearly showed Wilson dropping the drugs by the counter just minutes before it was found. Employees then called the Spokane Police. An officer arrived and tested the drugs, which came back positive for methamphetamine.
Officers used the information Wilson left to track him down at his house where they informed him he was under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Let his information making sure that they will …find him!

Cindy Sheehan-led Bush protest in Dallas
About 50 people joined Cindy Sheehan, the antiwar activist whose son was killed in the war on Iraq, in a protest this afternoon near former President George W. Bush’s Preston Hollow home.
The march was sponsored by the Dallas Peace Center, which has been involved in protests with Sheehan since 2005, when the California mother staged a prolonged demonstration outside Bush’s ranch in Crawford, Texas. Somebody has to tell he …Bush is not the president anymore!
