I sat on my balcony
Painting a new artwork,
And the sky was glowing
With a soft diffusing orange,
And the light fell on the landscape
Painting it with a warm colour.

Ambient music played
From inside my apartment,
And the aroma of lit sandalwood
Incense sticks floated outside
And everything was a soft pastel orange;
The trees, the buildings, the sky,
And I lost myself in this fleeting moment,
Mesmerised by nature’s symphony
Playing out before me.
