Eyes glistened On the boulevard Among the crumpled Bags and graffiti as the Neon lights flashed In the streets and Alleyways
Images of Decaying Civilisations Swirled tangled In wisps of Smoke like A snake, As their eyes Blinked from The darkened Windows of The city Skyline.
They danced In a ring around The rusted metal Barrel, the orange Flames glowing, Leaping, licking Casting shadows Against the brick Wall lead by the Shaman in A trance.
Hypnotic, Mesmeric, Narcotic, Soothing, Magical.
Their seething Passions were Like a cauldron; Igneous rock and Steel melting.
They broke The bread and Drank the wine As they shared A communion Of poverty, Shedding their Inhibitions like A dried dead Lizard skin.
Cleansed And pure, Shining beacons, He can still feel The tingling Of her touch; Like drops of Black and red Ink spreading In the water of A psychedelic Lamp,
Under The flashing Lightning, he Protected her Sacred dancing Space as the rain Soaked and baptised Their souls on the Red rock, on the Edge in a poetic Reverie until the End of time; Free spirits Sharing a Communion Of poverty Filled with The baubles Of their love.
The years Fell and died Gloriously like Golden crumpled Leaves, and Their eyes still Glistened; Their whirring Shadows danced On lead by the Shaman.
In a circle Protecting Her sacred Dancing space Until the edge Of time.
