Kyriakos ‘Koulis’ Mitsotakis, became Prime minister of Greece after democratic and free elections on July 8th, 2019. Since then democracy and freedom are suffering and Greece has turn into a police state under the rule of a populist and corrupted mob of authoritarians and opportunists.

It took only a few weeks for Kyriakos ‘Koulis’ Mitsotakis to take off the democrat’s mask and show his real face, the man we already knew from his service as a minister during Antonakis Samaras era; one of the most corrupted and far-right politicians in modern Greek history. His involvement in Siemens’ bribery and Panama lists money laundry scandals should be the warning signs but as his late father said three decades earlier, “Greeks tend to forget after ten years” and in Kyriakos ‘Koulis’ Mitsotakis they did. In less that ten years.

In twenty months, Kyriakos ‘Koulis’ Mitsotakis and his gang of conmen has managed to destroy everything the Greek people tried to preserve since the socking economic destruction of 2009. With scandalous and challenging assignments and purchases they stripped the entire safety-net fund Tsipras government had built while ruining the national health system and public education and offering them literally for pennies to “friendly” privateers.

In the peak of the pandemic while starting lay-outs in hospitals’ personnel and doctors, striping the national health system for their budget (one of the lowest globally) he reinforced the police hiring thousands of new policemen and buying unbelievable amounts of repressive weaponry for them, spending money while hundreds of people were dying without proper medical care and lacking the necessary medical personnel.

Adding to all that a huge cover-up of a series of #metoo scandals and a personally assigned national theatre director with serious criminal accusations of rape and paedophilia, Kyriakos ‘Koulis’ Mitsotakis turned to his already familiar and hard working Goebbelsian machine, the bribed media, owned – again – by “friendly” privateers spreading lies, disinformation and fake news or fake mud against anybody who dares doubt them.

At his service he found an unexpected ally in Facebook volunteering to censor every democratic cry. Oddly and coincidentally another “friendly” privateer owns the company responsible for Facebook’s enforcement of the censoring …algorithm in Greece. A prisoner’s hunger strike – the fact that he is a terrorist with murders in his sentence doesn’t make him less human – who asks from the government to apply on him his legal rights the very same Kyriakos ‘Koulis’ Mitsotakis’ government has legislate a year ago specifically targeting …him and the people’s support for his legal right has become Facebook’s excuse and alibi for censoring hundreds of pages and personal accounts.

Suddenly and especially after censoring Australia, it looks like Donald Trump’s ban from Facebook was somehow forced by the competition and especially Twitter’s Jack Dorsey while it also worked as a smoke curtain to cover Mark Zuckerberg’s very right-wing real ego. Facebook has become the platform of the careful conservatism in USA where in other countries, like Malaysia, Thailand, Brazil, Philippines, Turkey and now in Greece it has become the loyal censor of authoritarian rulers. Censoring accounts in Greece with references to …democracy is NOT violating any “community rules” is plainly antidemocratic and in reality fascist.

The next question is if Zuckerberg is ready to compromise and serve even dictators to save his constantly growing wealth or …this is the real Zuckerberg.

In the meantime and over the body of a dying prisoner, even a convict murderer, Kyriakos ‘Koulis’ Mitsotakis murders democracy in Greece with a little help from his friends including ...Mark Zuckerberg.
