On a journey to nowhere,
I arrived at now.
The surrounding sky
Withdrew into a hole;
Lights turned off,
A change in scenery.
 
In a soft repose,
A sigh was told,
And retold into a story;
Neither here nor there,
So as not to confirm,
How alone, is alone.
 
I asked my soul,
To remember its last role.
A chuckle emerged,
Quite the sensation;
A nightly lullaby,
To my imagination.
