According to a few UK Sunday newspapers, British officials have revived cold war emergency plans to relocate the royal family should there be riots in London if Britain suffers a disruptive departure from the European Union. Some of them mention that the “safe” locations include a lot in EU and you seriously have to check your calendar and make sure that his is not fool’s day!

If the semantics behind this headline weren’t so strong it could be almost funny, but it is not. So the British government expects riots in the capital and other major cities? Riots why? It will be Brexiteers against Remainers? Didn’t happen two years now why now? There was no lack of provocations from both sides, even from cabinet members. Some of the things Boris or Rees-Mogg have said could start civil war not just riots, but then nothing really happened. So, what’s the problem?

The problem is that we are looking at two sides, we are looking for a nation in division while we should look for a mislead and misinformed side. One side.

To make things worse we are talking about the side while in the backsides of the Brexiteers, the loudest. A minority full of hate inspired of conspiracy theories, illusions and paranoia.

There is an armed, mentally and physically, minority in UK this moment, that counts to a few tens of thousands, fed for decades with the poison of stolen empires and glories waiting that that on the 29 March 2019 and at 11 pm UK time the good old times will magically return and UK will be left to white Christian men and women to rule the world. Four to sixe generations of British people born and lived mostly in poverty or just above it and blaming for their situation the poor Indian or Pakistani who was actually forced by their actions to immigrate for their misery.

What makes it even sadder is the fact that even back in the old days, most of these people were there to breathe and die for masters without any chance to enjoy even family life. They don’t realize that these “good old days” were the Dickensian days of Oliver Twist without any great expectations.

The expectations are so “high” that makes these people real danger and it is too late to start the blame game; it started sometime before august 1947 when Lord Mountbatten folded the British flag in India. That day did not mark the end of the “good old days” but the beginning of the search of the “good old days”. And these people think that their search ended with Brexit. Brexit became their cause and Holly Grail however sad that might sounds.

The day after has nothing to do with EU or the Remainers, has to do with generations of illusions and false nationalism. It has to do with ignorance and misinformation. It has to do with populist politicians and manipulative media. It has to do with poison and hate and for those there is no easy cure. That’s why they prepare the royal family for relocation in case of riots, because hate has never been good in aim and whoever is there is going to deal with it if …nothing happens soon to change the situation.

Sadly it will be the supermarkets that will give the reasoning and the motive. It will be the lack of certain cheese from the shelves or the double price of a cake. The cues at the airport to delays at the bank. Plenty of excuses to increase frustration for the ones who thought that they just found the holly grail that will “return” them the good old days they …stole from them.

Amazingly but this moment the British authorities are afraid of an overpriced piece of Gouda at the local supermarket!
