Indeed, that is just one of his “brilliant ideas” that his supporters admire and proclaim even in writing. Another one is that a business man president will do a much better job than a mere politician. That would not be the first time around. The first time around we had Herbert Hoover who presented us with the Great Depression and the second time around we had George Bush who presented us with the Great Recession and almost managed to involve us into a second depression which would have made the first one look like a picnic had not President Obama gotten us out of it. Another brilliant idea is that all Mexicans are illegal and thieves and rapists; another one is that all Moslems are terrorists, that we do not need to raise the minimum wage for full-time workers, and so on and so on. With all those brilliant ideas who needs philosophy and logic any longer?
