She was on her way to the meeting. She was expecting success, and had dressed for it. A fine silk jacket covered an emerald green blouse. The dress was blue. Her leather shoes matched her handbag. It was a slim and sheik handbag, inside of which there was hardly a thing. She wore her blue sapphire ring. She had about ten minutes to get to the meeting room, and was walking at a comfortable pace along the sidewalk.

As she passed a department store she noticed a full length mirror behind the mannequins. She thought to have a look at herself before making her appearance. She stopped and looked.

She noticed that her jacket had hiked up a bit, and adjusted the fit so that the shoulders were even, while the breasts were subtly highlighted by the contour of the fabric. She quickly looked over her skirt and shoes, contented by the appearance. Then she looked at her face, wondering if the foundation to her makeup would hold through the meeting, in case the room was warm. She noticed that the sun reflecting off the mirror was striking her left cheek, and looked to see if there was any crackling. It looked alright. Then she looked at her eyes. The mascara and eye shadow were highlighting them nicely, and the shading was perfect.

There was a blitz of sunlight off the mirror as a car behind her sped by. She was blinded for just a second. When her vision corrected itself she found she was looking right into her own eyeballs. She seldom did this, and she decided to look into those eyes for a second or two. She looked, and became drawn in to them. There was a slight panicky sensation as she noticed that she could not break the stare. She entered some kind of trance, and lost track of time completely.

After a moment that seemed to be an eternity she was able to look away from the eyes. She looked down at the body. It was naked. This did not startle her, so she let her eyes slowly rove over the entire body. She found it attractive. She had a brief thought that the imperfections she associated with her own body were not to be found on this body. She began to basque in her own beauty, hypnotized again by a total appreciation for the naked figure before her.

She noticed that the make-up on her face was peeling, and starting to look ugly. The mascara was mixing with sweat and dripping on her face. She had a moment of panic

Looking around, she saw pedestrians walking by, taking no notice of her whatever. Cars were in the street, but none stopped or stared. She did not have a kerchief in her bag, so she wiped her face off with her blouse. Then she looked into the eyes before her again.

She held the glance, and let herself love the person looking at her. She saw the nakedness, but did not try to look it over. She did not look down to see if she looked like the image in the mirror, as she had fallen in love with the reflection. She completely forgot the meeting.

Standing there she smiled at the reflection. She reached her hand out toward the department store window. The person in the mirror did the same. Both reached up to the point of the window’s glass. Neither stopped.

She took the hand of the beautiful naked woman, and her hand was held. They held on tight. A fantastic flow of energy ran like a current between them. They squeezed each other's hand. Then she stepped toward the window. She reached out with the other hand. Both hands were held. There was no window.

They moved closer and embraced. Looking into each others eyes, like long separated soul-mates. Neither said a word. Then they held very tightly to each other in a feeling of endless joy.

She did not arrive at the meeting. She was never found.
