Despite some slightly surreal moments at around 4am last year and heartburn from too much coffee, Asa Butcher has decided to once again entertain Ovi's Oscar lovers/insomniacs with a live report during this year's Academy Awards.

Asa Butcher is based in Helsinki, Finland, which is a mere ten hours behind Los Angeles and the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, so please remember that his watch will read 3am when Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin launch the show.

This year he will be using Twitter to comment upon the unfolding events and winners, so feel free to keep him company, ask him random cinema questions and otherwise stop him from falling asleep.
