And that was June, with thirty main stories covering everything from the Euro-elections to the death of pop megastar Michael Jackson.

In this cover issue of Ovi Magazine we have a variety of subjects, including politics, the environment, culture and sports; this after a long break in sports articles. Plus poetry and cartoons, which I think have become part of Ovi Magazine’s character.

And of course a big thank you to the people who contributed to be contemporary, thank you Artie Knapp, Edna Nelson, Emanuel L. Paparella, Dr. Habib Siddiqui, Leah Sellers, Tahir Khan, Luis Alves, Gush Shalom, Rene Wadlow, Patrick McWade and David Sparenberg and of course Asa and I did our best.

We hope that our articles make a difference in this world in crisis. Like a friend often tells me – these articles give good food for thought.

Indeed, there is food for the body and then there is food for the mind and the soul. In my opinion, what is palpable in Ovi as the months and years go by is a subtle shift from the mere informational, technological and scientific to the poetic, the humanistic and the spiritual, characteristics which are the salt of any valid knowledge and can encompass and transcend even the scientific and technological; which is to say, the food for the mind and the soul is progressively becoming more succulent and appetizing in Ovi magazine and for that it deserves congratulations. Ad majorem.
