Death comes to us all, sooner or later, whether we are genius or ordinary people. Well used, extraordinary talents assure the genius among us fame during life and immortality after death. The ultimate transcendent issue on the horizon of every man’s life however is never when one dies, but how one has lived one’s life and how one dies. The ancient Greeks called it the cultivation of the soul as a preparation for dying well. We, more shallow and clever by half moderns, call it celebrity status. RIP Michael Jackson.
