Oh, the Songs of Liberty! The beautiful, wondrous Soul Songs of Liberty!
They scream, screech, wail, warble and echo through distant Halls of hard won Individual and Societal Freedoms.
They are Songs of Red Passions Courage and Blood. Songs of Green Burgeonings, New Beginnings and Potentialities. Songs of Yellow and White Illuminations and Enlightenments.
The Path of Learning, Experiencing and Owning the various Rainbow Melodies of Liberty is never easy. It is never easy or comfortable to leave what is Known (no matter how toxic it may be for Us) for the ethereal reaches (yet to be created) of the frightening and uncertain Unknown. What we Dream of and Wish for in Life often never looks like what we Envisioned by the Time we Attain it. It is almost always a very different and difficult creature.
Also, it is basic Human Nature to want to Control things. It makes us feel Safe, Secure, Satiated. The stirrings and rumblings of Liberty (even when we are the ones helping to create them) make us Un-Easy. They feel chaotic and destructive. But such is the Art and Science of Liberty. Some-Thing must die for another to be given Birth. Some-Thing must die in order for another to be Created from its Ashes. As it thrashes and moans, Liberty seeks to unhinge the cold, hard shackles chaffing, burning, breaking flesh and bone - holding it back - demanding unquestioning compliance - complacent supplication to Controlling Forces. Liberty Calls out - blow the Horns of Freedom! Reverberate, Ring out, Sing out, Shout out and Bring down the Prison Walls of Authoritarian (repressive and oppressive) Brick, Mortar and Stone!
Liberty Seeks the Change and Growth which will follow as its Momentum expands and strengthens. As it becomes a Force of Nature to be reckoned with.
At last, Freedom from the debasing constraints which keep Us from Becoming fully who we are capable of Being. Liberty seeks to lead us into Fertile, Green Pastures. Rich, moist Ground for Our Dreams to be Planted - to be Realized. Fields of Dreams give Promise and Birth to Liberty’s burgeoning.
Liberty is a contagious, and rapidly spreading Dis-Ease. A Dis-Ease with the capacity to reach pandemic proportions. A Dis-Ease with constraints of Our Individual and Societal Spirits and Basic Human Rights - our inward Visionaries which thirst for Some-Thing Better - Higher - more Meaningful.
Liberty’s Siren Call stirs within the Souls and Dreams of every Being. To be Free to be fully Me - the Best of Me - reaching out toward what is Best within Others - what is Best for Others.
Luckily, our Yearnings and Callings for the Open Landscapes and Mindscapes - the endless Potentialities of Liberty have been magnified by our International, Interconnected airwaves, techno-waves, digitized and computerized messages and shared pictures of Truth and Reality. Who knew how smart and peacefully revolutionary our peacefully revolutionary smart phones could or would actually be?
Due to our Need to Communicate - our Capacities to Communicate with and Build Bridges toward one another through Technologies - through twittering with the boisterously brave Tweeters, we have bolstered the Strength given to the Winds of Change beneath and uplifting the lofty Wings of the Mighty Freedom Bird. The Freedom Bird is on the Rise Individually, Nationally and Globally. It’s Call - its Rainbow Song - Resonates within every Mind, Body and Soul Universally.
Fly, Freedom Bird, Fly! Our most Beautiful, Bright and Noble Dreams and Envisionings are given Life with every stroke of your Mighty Wings!
Where will these Winds of Change created by the Freedom’s Bird’s Flight take us? Where are we bound to? Where, When and How will we land? What will the Changes (Seen and Unforeseen) Born within the wake of Liberty’s Energetic Flight take us? What will we mourn the loss of and extol the gaining of? Who will we Become - Individually, Nationally, Globally?
So many Questions. So many Possible Answers. So many shifting, predictably unpredictable Scenarios.
Our only Certainty is that the Freedom Bird is in Flight. And while Winging amongst Sun, Moon, Clouds and Cosmic Dust is Singing its Mighty Song of Hope in Liberty throughout the wondrous blue-green gemstone, Earth.
