Recently OVI published a piece of hair-brained ideas about Einstein's Theory of Relativity.  A lot of speculation.  I called the piece "One Stone".

What we need now is Solid Rock.  The song I offer you here, 'Stone Mountain Sky Dream', speaks to a lot of things.  It's Rock.  I won't even try to say what it means to me, or should mean to you.  I think you will enjoy the listen.  That's the reason for this one:  Enjoy the Music.

You are free to download and enjoy.  Remember that common rights are retained with OVI -- no selling or copywriting, please.  Just the pleasure of the music.  Thanks.

I'd like to dedicate 'Stone Mountain Sky Dance' to Robert Plant, who turns 60 today.  Never met him, but the inspiration dies not die.

Chris

Thanks for the offer and the sharing Chris. Indeed, how does one express the inexpressible? Music seems to come close to it but without the poetical even music and poetry fail.

The above by Don Skiff that speaks of Mallarme and Debussy comes close in my opinion to briefly explain in a few words the nexus between music poetry and meaning. One could of course re-invent the wheel in hubris and arrogance but the common wisdom of manking suggests therein lies "the barbarism of the intellect" and that it is by far preferable to acknowledge and treasure the accumulated wisdom of mankind.

Errata above: "manking" should be "mankind".

It says "You are free to download and enjoy." All I can do on my browser is listen to a Quicktime Streem. Is there something wrong with my computer?

Now I see! You right click where it says "Click Here. . ." then go to Save Link As, and click. Then you can keep it on your computer, move it to your portable listening device, send it to a friend, etc. Please mention that this free release was made possible by OVI.
