Following on from the success of the 'ME' theme issue, Thanos and I have decided upon 'Drugs' as the next in the long line of Ovi theme topics. What comes to your mind when you think of drugs? Is it heroin, cocaine, marijuana, LSD or speed? Perhaps it is the vices of smoking or drinking, well whatever sparks your imagination we want the result. As always, we welcome contributions in any form be it articles, essays, photographs, cartoons, graphics, poems or stories. Let your mind run free.

Drugs, should they be legal? How dangerous can prescription drugs become? Have you inhaled? What damage have they done to society? Do you remember the '60s? What is the future drug? Should drugs be made legal in sport? Will the war on drugs ever be won? Have you ever tried Viagra? Should children be given pharmaceutical drugs? What should be done to drug dealers?

Just what was the caterpillar smoking in Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland? Does Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey become any clearer under the influence? How did you react to the syringe scene in Pulp Fiction? Is it really all Sex, Drugs, Rock & Roll? How influential have drugs been in music? Have we lost too many legends to drug abuse? Is love really a drug, as Roxy Music claimed? Drugs in the movies, are they glamorised? Were the Verve right that "The Drugs Don't Work"?

There are many questions that have many answers, so we want you to tackle some of them. Feel free to come up with your own questions, write about your own experiences, offer anecdotes, jokes, tales of foreboding, share your wisdom or teach us how to make a homemade bong. We will even accept recipes that will satisfy the munchies… damn, I could really use a cup of coffee now. Mmm, caffeine!
