there’s a fire beyond the sky,
it burns so bright, we all know,
where it hides we cannot go.

beyond the suns and moons,
where thought had bloomed,
from one, to what’s been done,

we should be able to know,
our souls tell us how it glows,
this portal from creation,

and my desire burns so high,
the questions can’t subside,
yet the answers still do hide,

beyond my imagination.

"He lives the poetry that he cannot write. The others write the poetry that they dare not realise." - Oscar Wilde (Add a comment)

I wonder how many realize that the poetry by which Lord Byron became one of the most recognized personalities of the 19th century was bad poetry. To be sure he wrote some good one in Don Juan but what attracted people to him was the fact that he dared to lived his poetry, good and bad. Indeed, living poetry means in the first place aknoweledging the transcendent in nature and within man.
