"So this is Xmas, And what have you done, Another year over, And a new one just begun…" sang John Lennon in his 1971 hit "Happy Xmas (War Is Over)", so what have you done? There are 88 different people that can answer that question with confidence because each of them have contributed to Ovi magazine over the past year and even though they did not all receive a cover Thanos and Asa want to thank you all, so a heartfelt thank you to:

However, this is the December 2007 Cover Stories PDF and we have a dozen of the aforementioned contributors to thank once again.

Judy Eichstedt returned after a long absence with the question 'What does Christmas really mean anyway?', and we also welcomed back Juliette Roques with a new column 'Coffee and Cigarettes in Helsinki'. The festive and wintry month inspired Emanuel L. Paparella to meditate on Kazantzakis' Greek Passion, Stuart Muscroft made his debut with 'Mistletoe, Mythology and Medicine', Maippi Tapanainen contributed a photograph exhibition entitled 'The Finnish Winter' and Alexandra Pereira highlighted John Lennon and Yoko Ono's 'Merry Xmas (War is Over)' campaign.

Hank W. had his Ovi premiere with a piece honouring Finland's 90th birthday, Rene Wadlow observed Human Rights Day, Jan Sand believes that Gaia is on the move, Akli Hadid asked if there is a way to become immortal, Christopher Wilkinson analysed the forthcoming 2008 USA Elections and Abdulhadi Hairan highlighted a horror on the first day of Eid ul Adha, an Islamic ritual of sacrifice.

My great thanks to you as well Ovi Team. With the wealth of contributors, where other web-mag sites are concerned, Ovi has taken the ordinary into extrodinary. Thanks for the opportunities.

As for me, I have learned to keep an open mind through the various and eclectic articles so often eye-opening, educational and insightful. I still a piece of work...in progress.

Thanks and ever upward to all in 08'.
