The menu in Miami, where President George W. Bush and his guest the Russian President Vladimir Putin are meeting, will have lobster and fish. The question of course remains what sort of fish these talks are going to catch; is it going to be a delicious kind or a vicious shark because there are going to be a lot of poison starters on the table.

Kosovo is a major issue for the two superpowers. The USA president and, in general, the US administrations have shown that there is only one way they can see Kosovo case as a geo-political issue and an independent Kosovo is the best solution for the Balkan plans of the Americans. The Russians from the other side have a different agenda. Geo-political plans are one thing but a traditional alliance that holds for centuries despite the chance of regimes and culture. Serbia was, is and will always be another orthodox ally that stood next to Russia in all the important moments of the Russian history.

The American administrations – it doesn’t matter if they are Bush or Clinton - will never understand that tiny small key points in Russian politics. The Russians are stuck in the corner at the moment with very few allies and the only ones really left are the traditional ones like Serbia. You just have to look at Poland to understand, the former lackey has turned menace who just tries to find any chance to undermine their former ruler. Russia will stick with Serbia except - there is always an ‘except’ in politics – that the rewards they will take will be so high that will make the sell out of Serbia worthwhile.

Democratic reforms, that’s another poisonous fish between the two of them and it has become more poisoned and bitter after the invasion in Iraq. How can the American administration talk about democratic reforms with a Guantanamo in its language? And be sure that Vladimir will be there to remind the fact again and again. In addition, with the help of the American media the Russian president will have a few photographic albums to present with torturing, forcing and ignoring any sense of human rights.

I presume for the two leaders it is how they understand the issue of human rights and strangely enough what they do understand has nothing to do with common sense - you don’t torture, humiliate or kill anybody and among anything else everybody has the right of defense and everybody is innocent till proven guilty; but I suppose that is small letters for both leaders. In the end they will agree that is all for the best and the war again terrorism doesn’t matter whom we baptize as terrorists!

Iran, now that’s another poisonous fish! That’s a poisonous fish with …pickers! Iran, or better Persia, during the Shah ages was the center of the absolute American buyers. Americans had the monopoly to anything imported in Iran, from television programs to missiles. Then the Ayatollahs came, Persia became Iran and the Russian took the place of the Americans. Simple as that. The Americans have all the Saudis, the Russians had Iraq. That was balance. Now the Americans have Iraq which means the Russians lost and keep losing a lot of money every second, good old Saddam was buying everything Moscow could offer and if that was not enough damage, the American want to put their foot in Iran now.

The Russians from their side have invested too much in Iran and the nuclear factories despite all the speeches of the puppet Iranian clown dictator about the Iranian scientific glory, the nuclear plant is totally manufactured from the Russians with a little help from the French. The financial damage for the Russians in Iraq as big but if they lose Iran it will be huge and there is no way they will let it go just like that, biting the lobster!

Finally, here comes …the shark! The late Ronald Reagan had a dream, to see the communists nuked! Instead of that he saw the Soviet Union in ruins. Not bad as a result! The end of communism for the old extreme conservative American president. George Bush needs to nuke somebody, he needs his communists and since there aren’t many left he turned to …Russia. After all the fruit of communism grew there!!! And don’t forget the President of Russia used to be a KGB spy! What’s next? But missiles all over Europe and especially hosted from the former communist states that love to destroy Russia forgetting that their menace has nothing to do with Russia but with a certain regime!

This last part is going to be tough for both leaders and I presume it will definitely ruin their appetite for desert …environmental issues!!! Of course and since there is no chance that they will agree in their final statement being sure that it will be focused on …the environment!!!

Good analysis. About the Communists, there aren't any left? The last count was one billion plus, just in China. But admittedly China does not count; when it comes to business we'll deal with the devil if we have to. There are quite a few left in Italy too.

I dearly hope that we get out of Iraq soon. To even consider stepping into Iran,[already in Afghanistan]is just to much to consider for the majority of Americans. This is frustrating to most Americans. We've had enough. Bring the troops home. Step out.
