The Morning Comes

The
Morning
Comes
Like a
Wondrous
img_1075_400Symphony,
A happy
Golden
Augury.

If only
The world
Could hear
The beating
Of the doves'
Wings, and
Witness the
Angels sing
On this fine
Sunday
Morn'.

The
Golden
Light falling
To earth.
Like dust.

Falling,
Falling,
Falling.

Gently
Caressing
The world
With a kiss.

As
Rays
Of light
Reach out
And travel
Over the
Landscape;
Lighting up
The green
Valleys,
And the
Shimmering
Trees,the
Rushing
Streams,
And the
Bustling
Bees;
As the
Mountains
Stretch out
Smiling
Towards
The sun.

The
Carpet
Of flowers
Across the
Fields
Gently
Dance
And
Bow to
The golden
Sun like
Ballerinas;
The yellow
Sunflowers,
The purple
Violets,and
Red roses.

All
Sending
A bouquet
Of their
Fragrance
Wafting
Upwards
Towards
Heaven
As the
Angels
Sing.

As
Droplets
Of water
Slide over
The leathery
Green leaves
In the morning
Dew,falling into
The languid
Pool like
The notes of
A harpsichord.

It were
As though
God were a
Conductor
Standing on
A mountain
Peak with
A baton
In hand
In the
Early
Morning
Light, and
Nature
Were his
Symphony.

O,to
Behold
Such
A miracle
Of nature
On this
Fine
Sunday
Morn'.

I,the
Humble
Audience
To this
Golden
Symphony.

This
Happy
Augury
Of man.

Beautiful imagery. You are a poet Nikos Laios. I also loved the art. What a talent, gift you have. Thank you for sharing it with the world (your humble audience). Thank you, the artist in you, for sharing it with me. For going the extra mile. This 'golden symphony' will stay with me for a long time. What a beautiful way of starting the morning by reading poetry created in Australia.

You are too kind Abigail,I wrote this whilst staying at my mother's house on the beach, with the sea on one side and the mountains on the other side; and I was so taken aback one Sunday morning with the symphony I was witnessing, that I placed own to paper and this came out....I think sometime humanity forgets the magic and majesty of mother nature to its detriment.

Many thanks and be well..
..and I also am a fan of your soulful work.

Dear Renaissance (Nikos Laois) Man,

Keep writing. I write about the beach often in my stories since it has played such an integral part of my childhood. It connects with everything in my adult life. It is also my survival kit. My insider guide. It is where I feel safe when all is not well. Thank you for writing back to me. Much appreciated. When I read a rejection letter I come to Ovi Magazine and read and read and read. Sometimes I am lucky to find that you have posted, something that inspires me and the world has blue skies again. Good night or good morning or good afternoon Renaissance man. Keep on writing. You are an exceptional writer.
