Ohi Day (in Greek ΟΧΙ, translation NO) commemorates the rejection by the Greek people of the ultimatum made by Italian dictator Benito Mussolini on October 28, 1940. AERA (in Greek: Αέρα, translate: air) was what they used to shout whilst charging against the enemy lines.
