My Delectable Feast

O, you
Sweet
Juicy Crab,
Your  softpicture_1asf_400
Shinning
Flesh,under
Your  crackling
Red Skin; how
You fascinate
Me.

O,you
Delectable
Lime-chilli
Prawn, dripping
With flavour;
I yearn
To unravel
Your tender
Sweet flavours,
With your shell
Cast aside.

O,you sexy
Secretive
Shell fish;
Smothered
With caviar and
Dill, how I crave
To fish out
Your succulent
Flesh from your
Moist craggy
Fissure with
My tongue;
With your
Shells cast
Aside, amongst
The scattered
cracked
Pepper.

O,and you
My love;
How I yearn
To cover you
With wafers of
Cinnamon flavoured
Strawberries,and
Lick them off your
Skin.

All the
Waves of
Flavours
Crashing
Into the shore
Of my mouth;
The sweet
Juicy crab,
The tender
Sweet prawn,
The succulent
Oysters,your
Delectable
Skin.

O,my
Delectable
Feast.

Sounds Epicurean in the best sense of that word. A delectable feast for them was double delectable when described poetically and intellectually. Thank you for the feast for the mind, Nikos and pass the cannoli! Perhaps you should consider joining the Ovi symposium. Plenty of wine being passed around there.

Mr. Laios, if interested in joining the Ovi symposium write to Thanos who can give you my e-mail address, and then, before making a final decision, to me as its coordinator and I'll send you the symposium's guidelines. All the best.

NB: 'temporality' and 'I'll' .....instead of 'temporarity' and 'i'l'll'........that's what happens when one uses a small keyboard on a mobile phone whilst travelling....oops.

Mr Paparella, thank you for your kind words.Our perceptual attention devices are indeed the doorways within which we can continually renew and nourish our soul by being in-tune to the miracles of nature on a daily basis;and one of the most primary one is food, and the sharing of food.How mechanically we live in the modern world and don't take the time to savour the orgiastic,orgasmic flavours that the food palette of nature has to offer us.How in-tune to our five senses one has to be to savour the sensual experience that food and the world around us is; thereby giving an existential value to our temporarity. A Symposium I hear?....indeed...with the kylix flowing and the heterai glowing in dance as a subject is developed and passed around the group. ..it would be my great honour. To The lonely lobster ....i haven't forgotten you...and I'I'll write a poem just for you
